tune or no tune???

tune or no tune???

I have a 03 evo8 and it has full exhust except stock manifold,upper and lower intercooler pipes. i have a boost controler but i dont know if i should go that way with a tune at this local shop called RevHard? Or buy a hand held tuner with a basic tune in it. Or a mail order?

You can get someone on here to do a remote tune, theres lots of reputable guys that will do that. Other then taking it to a good shop, a remote tune would be my choice.

My car, an 03, ran quite lean with a 3" turbo back, LICP, and a 255 (hitting about 13:1 under boost) so I really needed a tune. There are also a few other people on here who had the same issue, where the car does not compensate and runs very lean. But trust me, you WANT a tune anyways. Best single mod you can do to an evo IMO.
