I have a 03 Evo 8, had the clutch replaced ~2 years ago, ever since then the shifter has had ~2" of play side to side when in gear, so just today I replaced all shifter bushings (under hood and base) but to no success, it still has a huge amount of play. Although while dfoing the under hood ones, the piece that holds the small bushing is extremely loose and feels like that is where the play is, any ideas on a fix?

 

I also cannot shift into first or second gear O.O
