Cylinder 4 misfire help!
Ok so this goes out to all the people that were helping me with the misfire code problem.... It has been over 30 days and I have not had any engine codes pop up. This is really strange because the only thing I did was swap injector #4 with #2 and reset my battery. Now it still idles slightly strange (maybe a slight miss but always sounded funny at idle after I got the 3" exhaust) but other than that I am happy that the misfire code isnt coming on anymore. Im thinking that maybe because a lot of fuel shot out when i started the car, it might have cleaned out the injector somehow. Anyways I just wanted to update you guys and let you know the outcome of my problem is no more! Thanks again...
Funny thing is you might have had dirt in the fuel line.
When you swapped injectors, did you empty them on a rag to see if you had any crap in them?
We have been seeing bad fuel quality here in the NE.

I didnt notice any dirt come out of the injectors when I changed them, but it could have had some dirt in there since it was throwing the misfire code. I have been getting gas at Krogers latelly since its cheap and they are one of the places close to my house that has 93 octane. Whatever the case may be, im glad the code isnt coming on anymore because it was really frustrating.
