The Evo is ALIVE , finally>>>
Sorry guys, I did not see the replies
The exhaust was made by a local muffler shop, fully mandrel bent, one piece catback. No 5" flanges available. Nobody has built such an exhaust on a street car, yet.
The car is running great, and after some basic tuning, it spools at 3500 and reaches its wastegate pressure ( 17 psi) at 5200-5500rpms. And that is WITH NO NOOST CONTROL. Which means that the springs starts opening earlier than 17 psi, so it lags more than with a boost controller.
The exhaust is just plain SICK. The Supra FMIC is SICK too. My inlet temp is like 40 degrees, even with that big turbo and with my IC pipe going above my exhaust manifold. The bumper is holding up fine, but I have not taken it up over 110mph with that setup yet.
I am NOT getting a CWest or Gialla bumper. I already talked to a local race shop, and they are developing a front lip, diffuser, and a full widebody for the car, made from carbon fiber. That will be in end of January, beginning of February.
The car should look close to something like the Veilside Evo6 widebody.
The next thing on the horizon is the intake manifold. I am STILL on the stock clutch, but that will not be for long. I am getting my TRIPLE ATS carbon clutch by Dec 31st, and also we are testing several clutches for RPS.
More updates later, including some movies...
