Best Turbo in T3 frame?

What is the best mid size turbo in the t3 frame? Wanting better spool.

I am currently playing with the idea just to replace my t3 5 bolt gt3076r for something better.

I know turbo technology has changed alot over the years, Im hoping there is a new turbo that will fit what I want.

The GTX3071R has caught my attention.

Currently I'm using a full race single scroll gt3076r .63 a/r kit. Running 23psi, it makes around 400-420whp.

I'm thinking maybe using the gtx3071r with my fullrace gear and maybe adding cams!

We have always had very good success with the HTA turbos from Forced Performance. Havent really seen any of the full GTX-R stuff in the smaller sizes.

Yes, it seems thats a thin part of the evo market.

Someone wanting to make power/balance with stock 2.0 litr.

Looking at the compressor map, it should be able to go up to 54-56lbs/min which should be around 540-560whp.

Im wondering would a .82 or 1.02 be better. I'm going to have to use a higher psi to reach the same power as my GT3076R to achieve the same power I'm at now.
