possible problems with vta o2 dump housing?
Recently my car was pretty sick. Some of u might have seen my only 14psi wtf thread. Well to be short the manifold was cracked in 4 places that couldn be seen until uninstalled. I replaced it with my stocker and while I was in there replaced the o2 housing with a vta one. I kinda figured with the gasket not having the divider some exhaust would constantly leak through the tube and I was right. Is this a problem? To me at idle it sounds like a beast but if its gonna affect my wideband I need it fixed. Also before the install of that my hks bov would not surge at any time now it kinda flutters under light load kinda like its surging but full load it does not do anything but do like it should and sound ok. I wouldn't think the simple install of a o2 housing would affect that. I would think it would have problems surging before rather than after since more exhaust is going out faster correct me if im wrong please.
Forgot to add, if ur on a stock turbo the vta o2 dump is the way to go u can thank me later this single part has left me grinning from ear to ear and is gonna make it extremely hard to keep my right foot off the floor. I couldn be more happy if only I can get the flutter out and maybeeliminate the leak.
