so if your goal was to hit 500whp on the stck block which fp trbo would you use??
I currently am on the fp black and i dnt have any complaints but i haven't ran any other fp tribe with the same power. ppl are telling me that i would lose to an fp green with the same power... comments advice opinions let me know

also off topic is a competition twin disk a good clutch to get or are there better brands?

The green would obviously spool up quicker. The problem with the green is the torque comes on quicker due to this and the stock internals dont like that to much.

All depends what fuel your using! Theres too many aspects to look at.... a fp green would have to be maxed out to come close to what your making on the black now.

Has a little lag so you can keep the torque in check and make 500+ hp safely. Plus if you ever decide to build the block you can up the boost and make more power then all the others.

I have been on that setup for 2 years now still running strong at 500ish hp and like 390ish tq.

Helped a buddy do an fp black with all supporting mods and it only lasted about a month and a half. He had 20-30 more hp then me but alot more tq.

Plus I'd be worried about all the failures at high boost with journal bearings and the wrong oil. His turbo went from no shaft play to a little in 3 weeks.

They are all great turbos but I'm just sharing my experience with them. I'm sure you will be happy with any fp turbo you go with jus gotta be more careful with the sock frame ones.

I take it you aren't actually hitting ~400 wtq at 7500rpm, otherwise you would have about 70 more whp. How much is your torque falling off to?
