I Am A Dumbass!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember I installed my AEM Intake on my Evo about 2 months ago. Went on easilly and had some trouble fitting the BOV on inbetween the intake pipe and the radiator hose but of well it was wedged there and would not boost out.

Car ran great, but stumbled a bit at low throttle and would stall sometimes, but not that bad. Cars BOV sound was LOUD, VERY LOUD, OMG people thought I had an after market. But I would get BOV FLutter every now and then, I guess that is what it sounds like.

TODAY, I figured out I had my BOV on Backwards, thats right, I flipped it over, hmmmm, FITS PERFECTLY, Sounds like a stock BOV sound now, very quite, and the car is faster and NO MORE STALLING AT ALL, amazing.

Please learn from my mistakes, I bet some of you did this and this is why you are having stalling issues.

Car runs great now, will not stall, I tried hard too, like stock, quite BOV though.

lolrof, I have seen that before, and it does fit both ways. Don't feel bad a shop here did the same thing, I had to show them mine and say the thin hose goes UNDER the coolent hose, lolrof. it's easy to do, sometimes you will get a CEL to go with it.

No, that's not a dumb-***.

Looking all over the place for your car keys....
....when they are in your hand, now that's a dumb-***.
Been there done that.

I installed mine backwards for about three days before I figured it out. My girlfriend told me it sounded like my Evo was killing a turkey whenever I let off and it fluttered. It is very easy to put on backwards.
