using stock valves on a built head!?

i was recently owned by a shop building my motor and selling me a bad head...i now have to use my stock head and was going to just change out the dual springs and retainers to my stock head. i was thinking about getting a set of ferrea 6000 series but i believe i would have to change out my valve guides and well im trying to keep machine and part costs to a minimum but at the same time do the job right the first time to not have additional failures down the road. i have a fully built block and will be running hks 280 cams and using a pte6262 turbo. can anyone give me some insight. can i use the stock valves or am i just asking for failure and does anyone know if u can use the stock valve guides with a set of ferrea 6000's.

stock valves are fine unless ported for a larger valve, obviously. Tune will suffer though

you'll have benefits going to either ferrea 6000 or MAP stock size valves, but a cleanup / performance valve job will do much more. I would do ceramics before upgrading valves.

Im getting some titanium ones built in 0.5mm oversize...
