ACT clutch employee/member on here.

if there is a act-advanced clutch technology member/employee that works for them will you please contact me asap. i recently bought a clutch disc for my evo9 and when i opened the actual package the disc comes in we found that one of the rivets that hold the actual friction pads was missing. so my question is how can i get it fixed/repaired/exchanged?

if you guys look at the bottom left puck pad you can clearly see what the problem is that we encountered when we opened the package up. so can anyone tell me what they think will happen? will ACT exchange/repair or am i S.O.L? you can clearly see that the clutch disc has not been installed. and there is no damage to any surface of it. its just weird that out of all the clutch i have done in the past this is the first one that i have personally encountered to be defective from manufacturer. please help.

They will obviously send you a new one or whoever you bought it from will.

You will get an even slower response on here then calling them.

well i called the local shop that i had bought it from and they told me that they were going to have to contact them on monday and see what they say. they also told me that they couldnt just pull another off the shelf until they had contacted act first to see what was going to happen. the reason i posted this on here was because i just wanted some feedback from some of you on here. i am going to call them first thing tomorrow morning and see what they say.

Not sure exactly. Probably shipped it as soon as he called and then the time it took in transit. They were really cool to him about it.

D is right. when we got Logan's clutch it was the same way. we didnt even notice it until Gearhead Josh said something. it literally took about a week to get it though. not a bad turn around time really for this type of problem. he called who he got it from and if im not mistaken they called ACT.

on a side note, i drove Logan's car tonight after i finished it and that is a very very grabby clutch. you will like it for what it can do but traffic jams are going to suck. good luck bro!
