Its not really noticeable over stock reallly if your using, from personal experience, redline 80w140 or 75w90, because they have friction modifiers in them to quiet the diff clutches. If you want to 'dial in' a more aggressive diff then you can use a fluid with no friction modifiers like the redline 75w140NS. I love it for the track. I can average a few tenths faster autox times with this fluid over the previously mentioned. Be warned though it will make your diff chatter, clunk, and bang like no other and people will stare thinking your rear end is gonna fall off.
I only use this fluid when I track or autox for this reason, but its nice to sometimes drive home with the redline NS in my diff and the car making all these noises so the neighborhood kids think my car is a POS and wont want to steal it.

I've always hated how heavy the CT9A feels when it understeers.

I'm hoping this will make it behave more like a RWD vehicle on exit.

Joe, could you speak to the noise level compared to stock? In my buddy's car, it seems to be really loud, but it could also be that his RS is fully stripped. I'm interested in gettign this option myself.

As mentioned before i, i really didnt hear that much of a difference. I wasnt really looking for it though. My exhaust is really loud and so is my clutch. I never really noticed the noise. My trunk is gutted and back seats are out also. Does he have the rear diff bushings?

He has all AMS aluminum parts back there...which probably added to it.

Yea definitely. I know that the bushings make the stock one sound louder.

That would be 90% of the noise right there. I know, I have the same setup.
