Guys with mechanical boost gauge......
On the passenger side bring it in through an existing hole that has a rubber plug in it from the factory. you will have to remove the glove box (very easy) to gain access to itI found that i needed to extend the tubing and i used 1/8" to 1/8' brass compression fitting form the auto parts store. if you search the site you will definately find photos on the firewall pass through.

I agree that this is the common approach. I did it differently and have seen others go different than I did.
I used an autometer gauge. The hose for it is quite small-1/8th. I drilled a 1/8 hole in the black grommet of the speedo cable. Because you are so close to the throttle cable. You don't want to interfere with that. Measure twice, drill once. It worked out well. I had to remove very little stuff to make the hole. Added bonus was running the gauge line zip tied to the accel cable. If you are only going to run a boost gauge, this is an easy option.
