Okay, so had engine built and ran into a big issues.. engine builder forgot a wrist pin clip resulting in the wrist pin digging into the cyl wall. And I want this taken care of correctly. The motor currently is 20 over.

The question and advice I need is what are your opinions. And input on a motor being 40 or 60 over? What's opinions and input on a motor having one cyl sleeved? Or would best option be find a new block?

40 over is as big as you really want to go because it's gonna start getting very hot with thinner walls to disipate the heat.

I have a friend with 2 sleeves in his 2.3L, hasn't blown up yet, LOL

So would most people shy away from doing 40 over too? 60 over is out of the question.

Also sleaving that one cylinder a bad option? Pretty pissed if that's what's goin to get done considering i had a perfect block and after his mistake now it needs that...but we'll see what happens.
