6262 ~ 700 WHP Capable
6765 ~ 800 WHP Capable

So, the 6765 will make more horse power.

But dont you think that the .63ar on the 6765 will choke the turbo to the point that the 6262 .82ar can flow equal?

Nope. And it would be pointless to run a 62 outside on a 6765, so why do you ask?

I know of a car that makes 800 whp on a 6765 with a .63 hotside. I bet that it increases spool.

Will the 82 increase spool over a 63, sure. I guess I'm just having trouble understanding why you would do that with that particular turbo when you can have the same or slightly less power on an even faster spooling hta 86. Unless you are just doing it for arguments sake.

I run a 6262 T3 .82ar and was wondering if its worth it to go with a 6765 .63ar or just go with the .82ar, I dont want to increase lag too much. So I was thinking that a 6765 .63 could have the same lag than the 6262 .82 and make more power.

6765 will be ALOT laggier. I wouldnt swap unless you are going for 800+whp on a racecar.

I have had experience with both turbos in question...

On the 6262 t3 .63 a/r my car made 710whp...great turbo, good power, decent spool

I swapped to the 6765 t3 .63 a/r (turbo was only thing changed with the setup)...car made 780whp...still decent power but lag was greatly increased.

Finally, my current setup...just swapped to the .82 a/r on the t3 6765...the car made 860whp! Obviously the .63 a/r was choking the turbo...spool increased only marginally over the .63 a/r. The upgrade to the bigger hotside was clearly a good move but understand the car IS LAGGY!

I have no experience with the 6262 in .82 a/r but I feel that would be a good combo making great power with reasonable lag.

Hope this helps!

The 6765 is already a laggy Turbo so putting the .63 to "increase" spool isn't going to increase spool like people think.... Its still going to be laggy. That .63 does choke the turbo I believe and sure u can still make 800+ but the turbo wont last as long. I believe Sharkbite blew a few ams 6765's
