i thought the s2s were only on back order for the 9? damn i was going to order some s2s for my 8 but i guess i will go with kelfords. the mild bump in hp is not worth a 6 month wait imo. need to check the lift and duration of the fp and see how they compare.

spec ops, im over in arlington for business i may have to give you guys a shout if the price is competitive. cheers thanks for the info

I had the same problem a while ago, deciding on cams for my evo 8

after a lot of reading, it was between kelfords and S2

I went with the S2, everyone says you can't go wrong with them, so far so good

I upgraded springs only, as recommended by the manufacturer

I just emailed the president from awdperformance.com and he said it's only a week back order so I think I will go with the s2s

FWIW you dont have to get springs and retainers with S2's IF you are maintaining the stock rev limit. GSC Beehives are a great way to go and yes it is cheap insurance. However if you are on stock turbo you have no reason to be spinning it above 7500 anyways.

Well GSC s2's are really hot right now...i mean like GSC has been backed up for months for S2's.

Ive been waiting on my S2's for about a month and a half now...So if i had to pick id say its between the S2's or the kelfords...IMO

Kelford hands down, Its been proven over and over and over agian. Even by top shops who showed it making more power than thier own cams.

Yep, proven to not make as much power as the S2s.

Somebody needs to perform a test on an evo 8 with bolt-ons and stock turbo. I want to see hard numbers between these two cams. I am so interested that I might just buy some S2s and do it myself.
