And the fun begins..

I said to myself when I got the car that I won't touch the engine, It's fast enough.. So I just hit 61k miles and thinking about the 60K service. I decided to do some shopping. I figure while I have it apart for the timing belt, I'll just do everything so I ended up purchasing a set Kelford 272's, Supertech spring kit with Ti retainers, Fidanza cam gears, Maybe a set of Jam lifters.. and I will get Gates Racing belts with OEM tensioners and the other parts. Then I won't have to worry about valve train issues down the road.

So with the couple bolt ons that are in my sig, What else should I do to accommodate the other mods other then the Walbro 255? Will be running the stock turbo for a while and after the parts are installed, the car is going to Top Level Performance for a tune.. In the end, I would like to see around 425-430 HP..

Thanks !

Is that basically all your going to have is cams and a walboro 255 on the car? cause if so your probably not gona hit anywere near 425. and on that setup, if you wanted to hit 425 ud have to upgrade your injectors and run the car on e85. i was at like 90-95% injector duty at only 330whp on a mustang dyno when i ran a similair setup

Thats kind of why I was asking what else should I do, other then what I will already have. What would the next best upgrade be ? I know 425 will take more and thats why I said in the end.. Thanks for the reply

well if you got 1000cc injectors and ran the car on e85 it should hit somewere close if not a little more then 425, and you can run that off of one walboro 255 still. that would be your cheapest way to hit that hp. otherwise to run on 93 it would probably take a stock frame turbo upgrade and ud still need to buy injectors to go with it. Also another good upgrade if you dont have it already would be upper and lower intercooler piping. the stock piping is just eh

Best bet is 1450's, FPGreen, E85. That'd be a sick street setup, and not too expensive.
