Your launching may suck, but its apparent you can shift like a mad man.

Thanks, I think Shifting is easy, I do it all the time! Launching from a stop on broken pavement (Sacremento Raceway is really bad) is another story altogether.

Guess the WHP:

anyone?

On a dynojet or dynapack that would be right around 475 to 485 wheel HP.

Keep the guesses coming guys... No one got too close yet. And yes, try to guess the Dyno Dynamics Dyno number. Everything else is just nonsense

Shiv

Ok ok ok ok ok..... I got it. The Dyno Dynamics reads real low so I'll guess:

12

Excellent numbers Shiv! Congratulations.

Speedlimit...

With all of the mud slinging going on I knew it wouldn't be long before Shiv hit the strip

What were the mods on the car?

I guess 375 hp.

Hi guys,

On our dyno, the car was putting down between 435whp with near perfect consistency. With this tune, it was hitting against the rev limit in 4th at the end of the 1/4 mile. So, with better gearing/bigger rolling diameter tires, expect to see traps in the 125-126mph range

In Shootout Mode, the Dyno estimated crank hp to be 550hp which seems spot on and quite reasonable.

FWIW, this car would probably make around 500whp on an AWD Dynojet. Maybe 550whp on a 2WD Dynojet.

Some of you guys got really close!

Shiv

PS. Speedlimit-- 12whp!?! Hey, don't laugh, that's still more than my 50cc race bike

Turbo Weapon is the joke. How much time did you spend digging for that pathetic little tiny bit of dirt?

Shiv,
One thing that you mentioned but noone is really sure if you were serious or not was getting a new intake system? Well????

At this point, not much more than a simple open air intake with big filter cone is needed. But keeping such an intake reasonably cold-air ducted would require removal of the headlight which I think is pretty unreasonable and silly.

I do have plans for a proper high flow, cold air system that will meet all my design requirements. It might come into fruition sometime soon. And you can bet that it will be tested first on the Stage 2 car since the stock box/filter it is currently running is a big 35hp restriction.

Cheers
shiv
