It's a gimmic.

That also means there is nothing inside to absorb heat. Charge air is going to just pass right through. Even if there was some heat exchange going on, where is it going to go? Do you really want to set up some kind of ducting system to have cool air pass over your super duper coolong pipes?

What a joke. If you just think how quickly the air will be moving it would have only a fraction of time to even transfer any heat. I would like to see some actual testing of pre and post temps of that "cooling pipe". If anything it may be just be more mass to hold heat.
