Crankscraper: which one is better? Cosworth or Tomei's?

Hello guys,

I have been planning on picking up a Buschur modified oil pan along with a crankscraper. The one that BR and AMS offers on their website retails for like $60-$70, whereas the one from Tomei is like $170-$200.

What are the pros and cons of each, which would you prefer?
Given the price difference, I'd rather take the cheaper one if it performs the same. At the same time if the more expensive one is better I wouldnt mind coughing up the extra $100 for it.

Thanks for reading.

Tomei comes with a baffle...the Cossie doesn't. The Cossie is just the crank scraper.

I just bought the Cossie and fitment was perfect.

Is the extra baffle necessary, or would the factory one suffice? I never removed my oil pan so I wouldnt know.

It's not an "extra" baffle, the Tomei one replaces the stock baffle. I haven't heard much from the Tomei but I think the Cossie scraper with stock baffle will be fine.

BUMP!

I need to know if the Tomei baffle and scraper will work with an OEM pan.

Are there any fitment issues with OEM or a Buschur baffled pan?

The Pan was a last minute thing. I found the JUN one last minute for dirt cheap so bought it just to compare to the BR pan. turns out they are pretty much identical. I just used the JUN pan though.
