boost controller help

I have a little boost loss at high RPM, like 6k + , will this be a problem if i install a boost controller and boost a higher? l currently boost 0.84 bar, and want to boost 0.95 BAR , it is an Evolution IV stock except for cat back exhaust.

I assume that if your exhaust is a "cat back", then your car is still equipped with a catalytic convertor. If so, then remove the Cat. This may reduce the boost taper.

Will the boost level of 0.95 be ok for the car?

If you want to increase boost, you must get a boost gauge and a tune for the increased boost or you run the risk of blowing your engine. It is normal for boost to fall off that high in the rpm range...

I will only be increasing it by 0.1 bar, will that hold?
