I just called my local mitsu dealer looking for some gaskets for my manifold. Of course, the parts guy had no idea what the EVO was, so he looked into his mitsu parts computer and was like, 'do you have the 2.0L or 2.4L'?

Hmmm., does this mean that the 4G64 is coming in 2004?? Or will the EVO 8.5 have the 4G64?

Any ideas?!

 

well why would you want a SOHC? that's what the 4g64 is..i mean the newer models have MIVEC, but i'm sure the confusion was over LANCER 2.0 or 2.4...

since there are 3 engine models of lancers

Faster than you is offering a special 2.4L turbo but you have to put hood spacers new oil pump gears it is a big deal plus stand alone ECU in all a big pain just wait and save your money for the next thing that comes. The Evo 8 as is has so much power to tap there is no reason to stroke unless you just want too.

 

Cool, thanks for the confirmation, I figured these guys have no clue what they are talking about...BTW, I heard that Mitsu never had any clean results while running a turbo in the 4G64...

This gay retard at the parts counter asked me if I wanted the gasket that goes from the turbo the the manifold wit the two holes in it, then he said "Wait, is your car a turbo" OMG.........
