i bought the car from a good friend....the ac lower hose was somehow ribbing on the corner or my oversized radiator and developed a cut..ac was out of commision about 2 years, never bothered to fix it until now. so i put a spankin new lower hose on and take the car in to an ac repair shop..the system was drained, vacuumed and pressurized to check for leaks..there were none..so the system was refilled as per the sticker on the hood. ...when the refilling was done car was started and checked....wow it blows cold....that lasted for about 40 sec of cold air..the car then by it self rpm rise to about 1500 rpm and then the compressor shut off and bye bye my a/c didnt work again....the tech was stumped and so was i....i know alot about cars but dont know jack about ac...sadly i drove home in 105 degree weather with no ac..but i do have a properly draind and charged system now...just trying to figure out why the ecu is shutting off the compressor..oh we also checked the relays and fuse..all good....the switch with the clear window was unplugged and then the fans shut off so i plugged it back in and the fans work..so i suppose that pressure sensor is good to go...any ideas or sugestions would be greatly apreciated.....just a note...my car was tunned by mellon tunning for a mail in flash post ac not working...i dont know if my tuner turned something off in the ecu thats preventing the ac from working properly ..i just dont know..in the process of messaging mellon...questions just pm...iam stumbled and need this air to work.

please delete found the issue..it was a cut wire above the compressor.....put it back together and bam i got cold ac....good for me...
