New clutch and new tranny problems

Last weekend I finally was able to install my new exedy stage 1 clutch with a RRE flywheel and jacks transmissions built tranny. On my very 1st initial drive something didnt seem right. The trans was "notchy" and there was a very noticeable whine. I know for a fact it can't be the typical death whine from the t-case bc it didnt whine before the install and I know it is properly filled. So thinking my clutch just need adjustment, I started to adjust it. I have now adjusted it from all it has, to the least it has and it does not change. Obviously when I adjust the pedal to where the clutch engages closer to the floor it makes it worse. And when you adjust the pedal to high it closes the bleeder valve on the slave from being self-adjusting to not.

Another thing is on jacks website, they state to rev your car to 7k in 1sr gear and see if the clutch drags and moves the car any. Well at my launch limit at 5600 rpms, it moves the car a little bit. Again, I adjusted the pedal all I can and it never really stops moving the car.

So I guess I'm just really confused on if I got a bad tranny or bad clutch or if I am over looking anything I can do do better this. Its very frustrating after spending $3,000 on clutch and tranny. I have bled the clutch twice now and there is NO air in the lines.

I now have 600 miles on the clutch and tranny now since last weekend

Any help on this would be very appreciated.

i personally would call RRE and/or Jacks transmissions. I'm sure they will be happy to support their products and offer to help you get through your problems.

I've contacted Jacks and they seem to think its a mis-adjusted clutch still. 1st they thought it was I needed to bleed the clutch, so I did it again with no difference.

the clutch I know for a fact now is adjusted right. I followed step bystep on the "how to proper clutch adjustment" on their website. 2nd gear is the "worse" of all the other gears. When the tranny is cold it is very hard to put in to gear. I know it will be a little tuff but it is HARD. I'm just hoping I dont have to pull the damn thing back out.

you need to isolate why it's dragging.
I wouldn't really be driving it much until you figure that out, as you may cause other damages.

If your setup is working correct, then you will get zero drag.
Is your car still moving when you rev it up to redline in 1st gear?

it starts to edge forward a little bit but not near as much as it used too. It doesnt constantly roll the car forward.

Idk what else to do to see why its dragging? Its a new clutch, new pressure plate, new throw out bearing, and new slave cylinder with the pill removed.

did the clutch disc get installed in the correct orientation?
if it's still dragging, thats your problem. Now you just need to figure out why, and go from there.
high speed shifting with a dragging clutch system will kill your gearbox really fast

Well the problem is I cant rev past 5600rpm or so bc I cant disconnect my launch limit bc I dont have my tactrix cable.
