Clutch problems

I have just rebuilt my evo motor has about 500hp, I got a brand new clutch and it's done about 700miles but now the clutch doesn't seem to disengage fully when changing at high rpm. It's getting quite bad and it very hard to change gears fast. I have been told that this is putting to much pressure on the crank and could cause problems, is this true? Any ideas to fix this?

Clutch

Hello,
A way to check if the clutch isn't releasing is to try and engage reverse gear. It doesn't have synchro mesh and will grate if the the clutch doesn't release.
If it does grate , then you need to check if the slave cylinder is travelling far enough. How much free play does your clutch pedal have? I know the clutch pedal set-up is quite important.
good luck
