Viii and ix 5 speed trans interchangeable?
Is a Evo 8 5 speed trans a bolt in affair for a Evo 9 5 speed and visa-versa?

why or why not will they interchange?

yes, I searched and couldnt find a definite answer

They are identical in regards to bolting it in place. The gearing is different.
