Disconnecting the factory boost solenoid with aftermarket EBC

When I had my Profec B installed, the factory boost solenoid was unplugged from the factory harness as well. Obviously, I'm getting the "Boost Solenoid Failure" CEL.

Does this hamper performance or is it simply a "soft" code?

Thanks.

Leave it pluged in to the harness . I just disconnected the hosing and placed it in a little baggy.

I owe you guys a beer. You've both been on the ball with my stupid questions.

It was easy to find. Just to be ****, it's the plug that T's off of the MAF plug-in correct?

It was the only one in the general region that was disconnected so I figured "Yes."
