I talked with Jon @ TRE about the "cocktail". I ran that in my transmission before I had it serviced and the paraffin in the lightweight severely clogged up the oiling system in the trans. He does not believe in the mixing of transmission fluids. He recommended to me the MT-90 for the high torque loads I put on my trans with the stroker.

I have been using Motul Gear 300, 75W90, which is an Ester-based, 100% synthetic gear oil. I have been using it in my 5-spd. for years now without incident.

In my country I just can't get any of the other oils mentioned such as Redline, Amsoil, Diaqueen, Pennzoil, and etc. So I thought that this would be my best option under the circumstances.

I've had more problems with the MT-85 then OEM. It just isn't smooth!

I'm switching to AMSOIL!

Probably not good for the evo tranny since it is GL-5.
