Well im still new here... Ive spent my first few days reading alot of the FAQs threads etc..

I drive an 05 EvoIII MR..

I read that switching to the Evo9 DV is better, but i already have a Brand New Tial Q from my last project..

Any advice or opinions? Sell it an upgrade to evo9? Keep it run it an enjoy the sound lol .. Also have a Tial 44mm WG but when i learned that Evos were internally gated i figured id sell...

But i see quite a few members here upgrade to actual BOV an external gated turbos..

Still up in the air as what to do..

I have a stock evo 9 d/v and when i upgrade my intercooler i am going to go tial bov.

 

What boost, turbo, hp level, etc are you planning on running?
Sure put VTA BOV on your car, if you are not running a MAF before the turbo inlet...

I'm running a TiAL BOV currently, but am also running Speed Density.

 

Sorry i forgot to add im changing to the Q/R its a RECIRCULATING valve

Right now its megan manifold.. Stock evo8 turbo.. I believe it to be on 21-22lbs, AMS IC, 3in exhaust and tune.. Im still learning about the mods previously done to it..

quick goals are... 400 on pump with either FR greem or red... Im undecided an still have alot of reading to do..
