Megan o2 vs Open dump o2 housings

I currently have a Megan racing o2 housing and I like it but I'm wondering if there are better gains from using a open dump o2 housing versus a megan racing o2 housing?

Here you go:

TL;DR Yes the O2 dump will give you significant gains, especially over the Megan.

Those impressive gains were achieved with the Black on larger displacement motors. Don't expect similar gains given a stock 2-Liter engine.

I have the Megan as well, and recently picked up a brand new JM Fab O2 dump from a member on EvoM after seeing some of the recent threads, like the one posted earlier, where the O2 dumps owned the merged units. From my research, I would recommend either the JM Fab or the ToxicFab. I hope to have my O2 dump installed by the end of the month, and will be sure to record both before and after VDR results.

I am really thinking about purchasing an O2 Dump. but I am wondering, do you guys smell fumes in the cabin while on full boost. Cuz I had a small exhaust leak before and the fumes would drive me crazy..

There is a gain from running an open dump, but not by much. The good thing about an open dump, is that it eliminates the turbulence from exhaust gases and the wastegate. If you get an aftermarket O2 for an aftermarket turbo, you will see the tube on the wastegate size goes down further so there isnt all that turbulence. Its a good upgrade. I run the Maperformance O2 dump, and I love it. Im sure they will chime in and say a few things about it. If you can deal with the noise it produces, then you should go with one. I for one love the way they sound.

Yes this is just a bolt-on install.

However, with that said, you will have to cut a hole in the plastic covering underneath your engine bay (if you still have it on), in order to have the dump tube fit.
