Opinions on Ethamax injectors?

Hey all, I am working on a build for a buddy, and around us not to many places carry e85 so no plans yet to tune his car on e85 but could in the future. Now I know TTP sells Ethamax injectors, and their price is pretty cheap compared to some others.

I couldn't find a lot of information on reviews or anything of this, and clearly don't want to put something so important in the car and half it fail.

Also can something like a standard FIC injector be used with e85, because otherwise I have only seen TTP's e85 injectors.

So overall I'm looking for reviews of the injectors, anyone have them clog or fail, and the question about e85.

Well, I can NOT vouch for the Ethamax injectors per say as I don't run them on my car as of yet... BUT I WILL be upgrading to them in the near future once I do my next turbo upgrade. Now that said, running the HKS GTII on my 03 VIII with the Buschur double pumper on Precision 1000cc's I ran out of injector just over the 500hp mark on E85. I used the same injectors on the car when I had an FP RED so it can be done. If I had it to do again I would have run something in the 12-1400 range, but you live, you learn. Jus call TTP they should be able to point you to some stats and such.

I hear ya, and I realize everyone has an opinion of this tuner and that tuner... and this product and that product in this forum so I can only tell you what I know as TTP tunes my car. Regardless of whatever horror stories someone my chime in with... since I started dealing with them in the begining of 2011 I have had no issues or problems with them or any of their products for whatever that is worth.

TTP "ethamax" injectors are relabeled FIC bluemax series of injectors. Save your money and order directly from FIC...talk to Jens he will take care of you.

Not worried about tune, not questioning that. Questioning a non fuel injector specialist, injectors . This is something with failure of injectors can be very damaging.

Most injectors are made by someone else....usually Delphi and Bosch. You should be fine.

And if this is true about a relabeled FIC Bluemax....thats pretty messed that they sell for about $40 more after shipping of a FIC labeled one based on deals I've found.

I am using the TTP Ethamax 1650cc on my E85 power ETS 5857 kit making 582whp on the stock motor. Running FullBlown twin walbros. They are installing my clutch tomorrow so I hope to be able to bust that 10 second pass and get the monkey off my back.

Fyi, TTP has been banned from this forum for shady business practices. Keep that in mind when considering ordering anything from them.... Go with a reputable company that is a vendor on here. I suggest FIC 1450cc Bluemax injectors.
