Leaky rear diff

Hi all,

This morning I've noticed there were some leaks from the right size of the rear diff.

I'm just after what you guys think it's wrong and get a better idea what the problem might be before taking it into a mechanic.

I've attached the pictures.

Circled 1 = saw couple of drips
Circled 2 = couple of drips from circle 1 originated from circle 2

Thanks in advance!

You should try the X forum. Nobody in the USA with an VIII or IX has AYC.

Did you get the ayc oil bath changed in the diff lately ? if it was overfilled it can come out through the breather on top and will end up down there also
