Stock flywheel?
Stock flywheel?
I have the ACT prolight flywheel and I am getting sick of having to heal N' toe at every time i am in traffic, or making an abrubt stop. The flywheel came with the car and its just becoming annoying at this point. I also have the ACT clutch.
My question is this; can the stock flywheel hold 440hp? Also, if it cannot, are there any aftermarket flywheels that can that I dont have to heel n' toe?

The problem is when I engage the clutch quickly, the RPMs tend to dip below where they should and the car shutters but most of the time the RPMs will climb back up where they should be with the clutch engaged. However, 10% of the time, if I dont heel n toe, the car will stall.
That really sounds more like a tune problem, vacuum leak, or user error =/ A lighter flywheel would make it more difficult, but it shouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE to smoothly engage the clutch to accelerate at whatever rate you want for stop and go traffic.
And I don't think the flywheel is ever limited by power. A lighter flywheel is just less rotating mass, and revs faster, which is something people looking for power also like.
