exhaust MOD

this only costs me 150 bux includes labor and parts.
It's not the best quallity of works but it's good enough for me to pull 12.9's all day with everything else stock including untouched ecu and cusco twin plate carbon clutch.
for so cal evo owners, I know that the cops down here will bust on any cars that have loud exhaust and will give them a ticket.
This mod that i did, kepy my stock muffler but still have an increase in performance between 2800 rpm to 5800 rpm, then after that it's still better than it was stock. The turbo spools a lot harder and that's why i'am runnin 12.9's all day.

did u know that our cats are 3 inch. go measure it. the flanges on the cat are 2.9 inch. have the muffler shop bore it out a little so it's 3 inch. and like i said i don't have 300 bux just to buy a downpipe. but right now my setup works very well and like i said i pull 12.9's on stock ecu and a kn n panel filter. in the mean time i can save some money for the jic downpipe that will only costs me 150 bux from sp-engineering.com

I like the test pipe as well. only at the track though. The reason I did this mod is because I live in so cal. here in so cali, the emission is very strict.cops are pulling over anybody that has an aftermarket muffler and giving them tickets. I cannot afford to pay 90 bux everytime they pull me over. if I have a testpipe, the can impound my car and fine me 2500 bux.
I like the stock look from the back but at the same time people would still think i'am stock.lols sleeper baby!

My future plans are having hytech exhaust company to cut open my stock muffler, weld a better high flow system in there, weld it together and wuaa laaa. lookin stock but fast. not looks nice and looks fast, but too slow. and plus cops will still think that i'am stock if i ever get pulled over. it's all about the sleeper style.
by the way, hytech is a company who makes honda and acura stuff, but they also fabricate anything. do a search on hytech at the honda-tech.com. they are proven to make power! and they also quoted me to do all this stuff for 500 bux. they are located in irvine,ca
