New Clutch and Flywheel!

Just got some new goodies from the UPS man at work today! I ordered my parts from JBautosports.com and got my parts in about 3 days! Really easy to work with JB and got great pricing through contacting them through PM on the boards here.

Anyways picked up a Competition Clutch Stage 4 - 6 puck clutch and lightweight flywheel! Can't wait to get this stuff installed!

The ol' girl on the lift. Got everything torn apart over the weekend, just was waiting on the goodies to arrive!

Got the Clutch install done over the weekend! Man, was that a pain in the a$$!

Got about 30 miles in on the break in period before I put the car away for the winter.

First impressions, firm firm firm pedal feel. Takes more effort to get that clutch pedal pushed in, or maybe I am a wuss... So far the clutch chatter on take off is a bit much. Almost killed it a couple times but was getting used to it before I put the car away. If I get the launch just right, the chatter is short and the clutch grabs extremely well. Hopefully, the chatter will settle down a bit after the break in period...unfortunately, it won't be until spring to find that one out!

The flywheel has definitely improved the throttle response on the car. Seems to rev much faster than before and I am getting through the gears surprisingly fast.

So far I am happy with the setup, and once track season starts up again, I am sure this will be a great setup to have. Can't beat it for the price either!

Here is a crappy iPhone pic of it in.
