hi guys i am interested to see what results people have had from experimenting with different lobe seperation.
I am sure the results will be different for the various different combos but i guess if you have done some experiments you could give some details of your combo cams turbo crank head etc we should be able to see some patterns if we get enough responses.
i guess it also depends on what your application is but for me its top end power for drag racing, i am still deciding on exactly what set up i will use, i am edging toward the 3794 with 280 cams on a 2.2, already got big valve head.
i know my last set up was ruinning 114deg on 264 cams with 2 litre crank, turbo was a holset with a 60lb compressor and t3 .69 housing, it wasnt making full boost till just over 5000rpm but made ok power 536@25psi on c16
i am also curious what effect changing the lobe seperation and duration it self will have on turbine inlet pressure? if running the fp3794 will using to bigger cam hurt things by increasing turbine inlet pressure this turbo flows a lot of air for the size of the turbine
