car rumbles like subie at idle and with throttle!

ok here goes..
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

me and my buddy just did a clutch job on my evo.
but once we started it up, clutch job and everything else went smooth.
but now the car doesnt seem to run right. it rumbles like a subie. and throttle response from just revving it in neutral isnt smooth anymore. idling is still smooth, but once i even rev it, it hesitate then it start to rev up. all while still sounding like a subie rumble.

idk what could be the problem? maybe the timing is off now? since my friend tried to Turn the motor ( we forgot which way) to get out the original TOB and now it completely ruined the timing? i have no idea what could be the problem. so im asking you guys 1st. lmk thaanks!

*** car ran perfectly fine prior to my clutch going out on me. i dont see how changing the clutch would affect it in anyway, except for the timing. everything is bolted up and tightened so i dont thikn theres a boost leak. lmk evom!

Injector clip isn't on. You're running on 3 cylinders. Make sure your coil wires are on too.

I doubt timing is your issue unless you changed your timing belt. Maybe a boost leak, assuming you took a few pipes off..
