ok about a month ago i put 10-30 sae royal purple in my evo and let it run for about 10 min and it ran perfectly fine.since then i havnt touched it.i just started my car up(had to jump it) and there is a loud *** noise coming from the oil pan.i can also feel it knocking.its cold as hell in my garage.some one mentioned that my oil just isnt ran through the whole way and another person said its prolly my crank barring...im afraid to drive it or even start it again cause i dont want to risk blowing anything else.
so this is where i need you guys to help me out..any answers would be awesome.

btw the car only has 45,000miles on it.

 

If its knocking loud from the bottom end,, the only right way to fix it is to do a rebuild. Good luck. Maybe post a video of the actual noise?

Disregard any information that you have previously receiver, or will receive in the future, from whoever told you that the oil wasn't "run through the whole way."

Pull the oil pan and have a look.

 

yeah thats what i was thinking.lol just seems weird that it would randomly go out while the car is sitting.idk what else it could be.do they just randomly go out?
