CBRD 2.3RB and LMP turbo kit-- inside-
Here is some more of "going on's at the shop" hee he-
Chuck sent his car here from TN for us to do a motor build and setup-
He had a line come off and massive overboost (about 41psi) on his BBK full which punched a hole in the block-
we decided to go 2.3 liter- and a tubular manifold kit as he wanted well over 500whp-
The car will be running on E85, stock ecu, ecu boost- etc---
Here are some pics of the damage- and the new CBRD love-
Motor is:
CBRD 2.3RB
OEM evo IX shortblock
Carillo Hbeams with upgraded hardware
CP side coated pistons
Manley 100mm TT crank
CBRD head with GSC springs/seats/retainers... inconel exhaust valves
CBRD FMIC and custom piping
CBRD 35RBT turbocharger
CBRD LMP Turbo kit- as shown here-
44mm Tial gate fully recirc'd-
and the motor assembled and timed up waiting for the turbo kit to come back from Swaintech-
Ill post more as it comes together!
It will also be using a JMFAB intake manifold (our favorite out of what we've used) and some other nice tidbits like quick disconnects and so forth-
We actually are trying to get Bryan (razorlab) to take a trip from Cali to tune some cars on our dyno that he has been remote tuning (this one and another)- always nice to have someone else give us feedback on these big packages-
