I have a FP Red from my old subaru still in my garage. The turbo has a 7mm subaru hotside and I was told that I could swap the hotside right over from my evo 8 turbo 10.5.. is this a true fact? I'm not sure if the hotside is the same for the 8 and 9 turbo but I figured I would ask before taking it apart.

Regardless if the center/compressor's are the same, the housing would need to be machined for the exhaust wheel.

 

Well that ends that, the turbo compressor housing is mounted different then a evo turbo and the compressor wheels rotate in the wrong direction so thanks for your help
