best upgrade for GT3076.63 A/R
HELLO THERE ,
since am running twin GT30s in tiptronic car , i would like to get them upgrade to make them spool faster and not lose the top end power , i searched for many options , and all what i found is the compressor wheel upgrade , its really cheap and there is no need to send the whole turbos to the US , since i live in UAE , i wil let my mechanic guy build it , so what do you think ?
should i go to gtx compressor wheel
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=NEW
or there is better options ??
thanks in advance

I've seen your posts on 6speed, hi
I haven't seen to many posts about the gtx spooling that much sooner, you might be a little dissapointed.
I know it's another turbo and flange, but the ATP "stock location" for a Subaru as well as Blouch's turbo like the dom3 might fit your spool needs better and will not make your power potential much lower but will spool faster.
Even 2 fp red(evo turbos) would be comparable. Funny how lower $$ cars get much more turbo options than the 996 and 997 guys. Also maps new efr4 turbo looks amazing for the kind of sPoool to power potential.

you will not be able to buy the GTX upgrade on it's own, you need to buy it when you buy a regular 3076.
your local mechanic would not be able to do it, they CHRA needs to be balanced at very high RPM.
If you swap the turbo's out to a HTA or GTX compressor, i'm sure you could onsell your old units!
Can you post some pics of your car?
Cheers, Mike

The gtx wheels aren't available yet. I have been keeping up with them being I run the exact same turbo in my talon. AGP told me not for at least 2 years being the gtx setups are only being offered as basically a half turbo.
This is new being I just checked the link out. But only info I can give was they were offering it without a cold side housing at the time. This would be a great upgrade if you can get them to get it to you.
