What is better on turbo applications if space was not a problem.
4-1 header?
4-2-1 header?

This goes back to the honda world. A long runner 4-1 setup will always make more power with negative of more lag.

Is twin scroll not just that then? 4-2 then it hits the turbine wheel... so all twinscrolls is actually 4-2-1
