Hey all, just need some last minute input on buying camshafts and cam gears for my EVO. Ive done the t-back as well as the dynoflash. Most say the next best step is the gears if oyur looking for speed/power upgrades. Anyway, my question is which are preffered and which ones do some of you have. Im thinking the HKS Cams, very reasonable price for a good product. And since Im pretty sure im going with the HKS gears I may also go with the shafts from them too. I think they run 270$ a pop plus the gears are 270$. Which comes to basically my limit on what I want to spend on both, approx 810$. Also, is it even worth it to get the cam gears?? Either way I would like som input/suggestions, or from people who have these products. Also, would I have to upgrade any other parts of the engine with getting these put in?? Im pretty sure i"d be ok. Im also curious what times people are running with them and similar mods as myself. My best time was 12.98 in cold weather when my car was not totally warmed, on 91 octane, and with Ventus all weather tires. By next month Ill have Kumho MX's. Anyone some help would be awesome!!!
