Transfer Case Question

So I sent my transfer case to shep recently and was wondering what kind of power numbers you need to be looking at before going stage 1 is necessary over just a rebuild. Thanks.

On brand new Transfer Cases the primary difference in the stages is the LSD, stage 2 uses Mitsu Rally and stage 3 uses a Quaife. I've been running the stage two for about 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it. That, paired with an Exedy Twin provide me with more than enough holding power for where I'm at now, and where I'll be in a couple months with an FP Red.

I would honestly say that if you're putting down any amount of torque greater than stock levels, I would seriously look at a stage 1. Remember, you get what you pay for and with bigger power levels, that clutch and TC are the first things to go. I found that out the hard way when I had to buy a whole new TC and Clutch setup.
