transfercase bearings

Anyone had any luck buying transfercase bearings from a vendor or anyone else, Jacks says that they can get the pinion bearings but are out of them right now. I've tried a few bearing suppliers with no luck.

Looks like Jacks is the only place that will sell them. I can't believe that you can call someone like Sheps or AWD and they will tell you that they have them but wont sell them to you. I know that they are rare but if some one wants to buy them why keep them on the shelf? When I need a tranny Jacks will be getting my business.

perhaps you can outsource repair kit from ralliart dealers, but i don't really know if you have one in the US.... also could be found from NSK bearings dealer if you happen to know part numbers, you may also try your luck there. i believe this thread has correct part numbers:

good luck and please share your findings

Thanks for the second link, that's a cool break down, I have the part numbers already and it seems that you can buy the kit out side the US but those Mitsubishi numbers are worthless here. I found meek auto in Australia sells the kit with bearings and seals, but I would like to get my parts faster than that.

some of the numbers (seals) do work at US dealers.. some are not (like ring and pinion set and perhaps bearings)... for bearings, you can try referring to your local NSK dealer, since you already have their corresponding part numbers. works for some folks over here (eastern europe).

So I got a whole rebuild kit from http://www.meek.com.au/index.php?act...&productId=396

Kit should have every part inside the transfer case, all bearings and seals. I hope this helps some one, Unfortunately I could not find anyone in the US that can get this kit.
