Is it possible to keep my stock block alive with a fp black on e85? I can get a good deal on one but ive read about black booming bottom ends. Thanks

Nope, as soon as your block sees that turbo, it implodes.

Yes you can its alll in the tune and how you drive.

I had a Fp Red on a stock bottom end and ran 10.50s consistently and one day at the track it decided to throw a rod. I raced the car a lot and had fun but still lasted awhile. U can really throw any turbo on the stock bottom end but just depends on the tune, how you drive, and how much you drive. If you decide to throw a black on the stock block, just be careful and dont push it ***** to the wall

Have it tuned so that the torque comes on bit later and conservative and you should be ok..... Still rollin the dice though If u have a heavy foot and like to race any performance car that pulls up next to ya and go to the track, i'd say put some rods and pistons in it at minimum lol.

I dont have the dyno graph since it was a couple years ago. I have one somewhere but god knows where its at lol. The TQ was around 420 i believe. On the red the car made 442 on the Mustang Dyno and i believe it was around 420 TQ.

Which is more like 520 / 480 Dyno Jet slash VDR. You were really pusing that block. Awesome it held up so long.
