Which turbo?

I pretty much decided to get an fp turbo, but i'm not sure which would be best. I can't decide between fp red, and green, ball bearing or journal. I'm shooting for 450-500 wheel with 272 cams and 93oct.

Thanks!

You should invest in headstuds and at least 1000cc, fp red will get you closer to 500 than a green.

I would say do a red you will make your power easy and will always have space to move up for when you get bored and want more power some precision 1200cc injectors would perfect for your power goals!

I have read about people making 500+ on the new ball bearing fp black. All reviews on that turbo seems to be good. Fp did say that they sell more Greens and Blacks than they sell Reds.

Please be more specific. What do you hate about the FP Red turbo exactly? What were the bad experiences that you and others had with the Red?

Black is known to fail too, my buddy on here just had his seize up last night with about 1,000 miles on it. And we were using the brad Penn oil.

DBB black or journal? I have yet to hear about any ball bearing versions fail yet. I dont see a reason the red would fail any faster than the black other than user error.
