Surge or turbo dying or something else!!??~
It is either compressor surge or BOV flutter I'd think. One or the other IMO. Does it happen at WOT, throttle lift off, steady cruise, or under light acceleration?
Agree. It is more like BOV flutter. I had the same issue before and the problem was solved after I changed a BOV spring. It is just my opinion.
Ended up being a small exhaust leak from o2 housing. Replaced seal and properly tightened all bolts and it disappeared. thanks for all the quick responses Guru's1! Much love.
