03 evo 8 misfire/bad idle/low boost

Ams tuned @ 23psi
Full exhaust
No cat
Licp
Ams ic
Gsc s1's

New plugs
Coils are good
Plug wires are good
No check engine light
Good 93
Fuel pump is fine
Injectors are not leaking

While cruisin at part throttle, i randomly get a misfire (doesnt happen all the time) after it misfires it sputters for a few seconds, then drives normal untill WOT, it wont hit target boost (only hits 13/14ish) or at idle it has a lumpy idle. It bounces between like 700 and 1200

Do you have an AFR gauge? (air fuel ratio) If so, what does it do when it misfires, and what does it read at idle?

How old are the injectors? It might be a problem with them being dirty or getting poor voltage, check your connections and your wires. You might check your battery connection, and your sensors just to be safe..it could be something simple as that.

**I don't understand the boost thing tho... It sounds like you have multiple problems that don't exactly relate...if you've checked all the things you say are good, than idk. It almost sounds like your ECU is freaking out. What kinda boost controller do you have? At idle, when you rev it up, does it have any issues?

Hmm....I'm gonna check around with some different "Evo guys" and see if they can think of anything else. How did you check your fuel pump? Are you just going off of sound or did you actually look in your tank? Is it "missing/sputtering" at WOT? I'm curious about your stock boost controller, I wonder if its having some kind of problem. The sputtering makes me think "fuel" but it could be that a sensor/boost controller is doing something weird..its also interesting that your car is only running about 14psi, which is the stock waste-gate pressure.. ?IDK? I'll get back to you asap.

It will misfire at any random time. Usually seems like it does its warmer out. Almost like something in the ignition is getting to hot for a second

Ive double and tripple checked everything. Compression is fine. No leaks or burns. Plugs are gapped to .022, coils are off a car with 20k

Just an update, ive been driving the car with no issues when the temp dropped. Anytime its 70-75+ is the only time the missfire happens
