How large is the motor you are building, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 or 2.4?

To each his own. Maybe he just wants a fast spool, better lower end torque and better responsive turbo/motor.

Personally, I went with an OEM 4G64 crank, Manley Turbo Tuff rods and Wiseco 1400HD 9:1 pistons. For valves, Supertech on everything (dual springs, valves, guides, etc) Besides Eagle, I haven't heard any problems with any of those companies you listed. I'm pretty sure Ferrea, JE, etc are all good companies to go with.

You are right to each his own, I personally wouldn't do a stroker kit unless I wanted to help spool bigger turbos, but no doubt with a small stock frame turbo u can make gobbs of torque and low rpms....if that's what ur lookin for.
