I'm not sure about how you guys are going about ordering your turbo, but when I ordered my DBB red towards the end of October it didn't take that long.

I called up FP and in less than two weeks I had a nice shiny snail ready for install...

You have to remember that Vendors (the people that buy bulk from FP) will probably get priority over single purchasers.

Try getting your money back from FP and buying from a FP Vendor. They will tell you if they are in stock and get you a turbo straight away

They sell more Greens and Blacks. Maybe that Red was already on the shelf.

Awd told me the opposite! Fp ships their own orders and then what is left to the vendors

If you need your turbo in a decent wait time, do the smart thing and get another turbo

Not gonna knock FP.... They have a huge following and I can see that they always get backed up this time of year.

But I can tell you that CBRD took my money on a Friday on a turbo they had to make and I got it in less than 10 business days(more like 7),LOL

If it said back ordered on the website, or you were told it was on back order when you called, then you're an idiot.

If it said in stock and FP told you that as such, I would be ****ing pissed. If they told you, "It should be here next week." Then they are just pulling you along their lie. I hope you can still cancel the order, that is what I'd be doing.

I'm one of those stupid idiots thats been waiting 6 months now, but thats because everybody raves about how great the black turbo is. I think I'm going to get my money back and go with a cbrd bbk ball bearing turbo. I know it doesn't flow as much as the fp black but then again I'm still running a stock block and don't even think I would be pushing the cbrd to its full potential anyways. Also you don't have to run any other special oil lines. What do you guys think?

SIX Months ????? cancel that order and get your money back...Call Chad @ CBRD and get the new BBB BB -C.

AFAIK the BBK uses the Garrett BB center section as well so i dont see how Blouch ( who builds the BBK ) gets them and FP doesnt ?

nothing was said about any sort of back order. each week i'm told "next week" so I got a little sick of it and I'm seeing what's going on with other customers, and if I'm being put on the backburner or something.

As for the guy who's been waiting 6 months, other people have been getting theirs within that time so I'd be calling whoever I could to see what's going on. As far as I know, for this set of orders no one has gotten theirs, as FP has been waiting on parts for some time now

I would Call Chad and see what he recommends for you.

I was going to get the BBK-C and after talking to him figured the better turbo for me was the BBK-BB-B (3B)

This is strange. I had ordered my Red, the next day they called me and requested I fill a form out and fax it over to them. They kept in contact and told me it would ship within 2 weeks. 3 days later I received an email with tracking numbers.....I was in contact with Amber, she was very responsive...they even corrected my order when I choose a coupler of a wrong size, it will be here tomorrow and Im pumped to throw it on and get tuned at CBRD
